Orsini's Viper - It lives in the southern Alps, the species is in decline since 20 years. But a conservation program has been initiated for this species in 2006.

The Pyrenees lizard - Its living area extends from the eastern Atlantic Pyrenees to the east of the Ariege between 2000 and 3000m. It is a species that does not support warming temperatures, which makes it almost impossible to reintroduce in other areas.

The ocellated lizard - It lives in the plain of the Crau, it is the largest French lizard. Its need its natural habitat to survive. Its extinction is in connection with the decline of the Garenne rabbit with whom he coexists sharing burrows.

The swamp turtle - It is a water turtle living in the Pyrenees Orientales. As the lizard in the Pyrenees, its reintroduction is complicated due to weather conditions and water quality.

The freshwater pearl mussel - It grows in moutains: Armoricain, Morvan, Vosges and Pyrenees. You can find it in 10 out of 80 rivers as they are very sensitive to their environment.
